No-Sting Skin-Prep is a liquid film-forming skin barrier designed to protect intact or damaged skin before the application of adhesive medical devices. Formulated with hexamethyldisiloxane and acrylate copolymer at 75–100% strength, this alcohol-free skin prep creates a thin, flexible protective interface that helps prepare the skin around drainage tubes, external catheters, ostomy sites, and other adhesive dressings for better adhesion and easier removal.
Because the formula is alcohol-free, it significantly reduces the potential for stinging on sensitive or compromised skin, making it a comfortable choice for patients who require frequent dressing changes.
