The MacThomas crest is printed over a tartan background on both faces of this small round ceramic ornament, made to hang year after year.
Clan MacThomas traces to Thomas, a 14th-century chief in Glenshee, Perthshire, and is historically grouped among the Clan Chattan confederation. The clan's motto, Deo Juvante — "with God's help" — appears in the crest design.
