Custom Japanese Knife Handle (Wa Handle) - Mono Masur Birch

This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made with stabilized Masur (Karelian) birch from Finland. 

Medium sized, it is suited for 165-210 Japanese knives. 

Weight: 53g, Length: 129.4mm (5.125")

Handle is sanded to 800 grit then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
