This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made with Kiln dried Gabon Ebony and black buffalo horn with nickel silver and G10 spacers.

Medium size, it is suited for 180-210 Japanese knives. 

Weight: 51g, Length: 133mm (5.375")

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection

Care :

  • Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
  • Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
  • Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
