AUCTION - BG-97 - Frank Zappa & The Mothers 1967 Poster - Stanley Mouse Signed - Fillmore - Mint

Here is a uniquely designed poster by psychedelic poster artist, Stanley Mouse, for a 1967 concert at the Fillmore & Winterland auditoriums. A pretty eclectic show here featuring the Mothers of Invention, the Chambers Brothers & Tim Buckley. What is curious about this poster is the departure of Stanley Mouse from his traditional style. This original 1st printing poster is referred to as BG-97-OP-2 in Eric King’s Guide to Psychedelic Poster Art. It measures about 21 7/8” x 12 3/4”. Mouse signed the poster in black sharpie in his traditional running mouse style. The poster is in mint condition 54 years on.
